About Teri Merrill

Teri Merrill

My love of art goes back to my childhood where I was known to set up art gallery stands in lieu of lemonade stands. I have studied with some but mostly am self-taught. I started in oils being the medium I love. My health issues, (asthma) due to use of turpentines directed me toward my love of acrylic. Most recently I have been reunited with my original love in water-based oils. I have sold many of my paintings and choose to keep them providing happiness with this site, for those who like cards, etc...I also had the privelege of designing a book cover, which was a new venue in the world of art for me. I have received many awards and continue to promote and encourage the arts within my community.
